What Qualifications are needed?
If you have already been assessed and accepted by another chimney sweep association such as The Guild, NACS, APICS, ICS & CSA or NVQ in Chimney Sweeping Level 2 you can join, but may still be required to go through the assessment process, depending on experience.
The NCSSA does not recognise the HETAS H009 or H011 if you have not been assessed in the above.
All NCSSA members are expected to have an NVQ in chimney sweeping level 2 or working towards gaining the qualification within 2 years of becoming a member.
All NCSSA members are to carry a public liability insurance policy of £2 million minimum.
Annual Membership only £200.00 per person which inc £10.00 going to YOUNG LIVES vs CANCER CLIC SARGENT. Membership is not transferable or refundable if cancelled at any time.
